Consulting Lessons Learned 24: Travel with a separate set of toiletries
Traveling every week, will also require you to pack your bag every weekend. You will laugh, but many young consultants quickly spend an hour just packing their stuff on a Sunday evening.
One easy efficiency hack: Buy a separate set of toiletries that are within your countries allowance limits (in Europe: below 100ml). Put them all into a transparent 1 Liter bag. Don’t use these cheap plastic bags! Go to Amazon and buy a more solid transparent bag for your toiletries.
The advantage: Just leave this bag inside your cabin luggage over the weekend. No need to unpack everything and pack again on Sunday.
